Poisonous Plants, Endangered Insects, and Beneficial Bombs! Huh?! How is it that poisonous milkweed the only plant that hosts & nurtures Monarch Butterflies?! When can bombs be beneficial? Join us to learn more about Monarchs and Milkweed, and make seed bombs using native milkweed! Throw them into the field at Veasey Park or take them home! If you have some extra time, stick around and craft Butterfly Suncatchers for the Veasey mud room and enclosed porch, or display them at home! Drop-in during one of our sessions! $10 / family includes everything you need! Ages 3 & up. Caregivers are responsible for children during activity, and may need to help children with some of the steps. Ticket sales will end a day before the scheduled class. If you are unable to make it to the event, and would like a take home kit, please get in touch! *The fee covers any participants of your immediate family, no limit!
