ISO Looking for a bigger breed female dog as a companion for my male

Not really looking for a puppy, 1-3 years would be great. I live on a farm, in a farming area, so dog will have room to play. We have a German/hound mix that does well with other dogs. I am willing to pay a small rehoming fee to home the dog, but craigslist is filled with people with younger dogs, that people want over the breeder rate to rehome them. I cant pay that much to give your dog a loving home with my two kiddos, youngest one being 7. Crazy times we are living in. My doggo gets socialized on the regular with 3 other dogs. I need a bigger breed as we regularly run the dogs on trails and such in the snow and I don't want to end up finding a frozen pup come spring. Feel free to contact me, and understand your welcome to see I am not lying. I keep hearing about dogs being used for fighting and that's why people are asking for high rates for rehoming. I think its more a greed thing though.
