Ten Jewish greats from the world of sports will be inducted into the Jewish Sports Heritage Association on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Temple Israel Lawrence, 140 Central Avenue, Lawrence, N.Y., starting a.m. Among the inductees: boxer Yuri Foreman; tennis player Renee Richards; Olympic fencing medalist Sada Jacobson; and New York Times Pulitzer Prize winning sportswriter Ira Berkow.
