Description
Rehoming my 5 blue death feigning beetles and their full setup (tank + light). There may actually be 6 in there, I’ve had for several years and can’t remember how many there are. They are never all out at the same time. They have a big cork log that they all live inside of.
They are omnivores and eat bug burger, fruits and veggies, as well as dead crickets, fish food, etc. These guys also specifically seem to love old/dried out apple slices.
They are pretty simple to care for and fun to watch! You can handle them too but they pretend to be dead when you touch them :) There are also isopods in there around the water dish so it needs to be kept full. I’ve also seen larvae in the substrate multiple years (but I’ve never isolated them and attempted to develop them).
