This is a very sad to do but is only what is best for them. My kids and I have decided that we need to rehome our doggies. We are their only owners. They both came from litters that where from a dog we had a long time ago, so sisters. So lets start by this is why i unfortunately have to rehome them. They are small dogs, and i thought it would be great for them to be on a farm and have room to roam and play but finding out that one of them is not so much as farm friendly as I was hoping for. Although she does great with other animals she doesn't do so great with my chickens. They also are both very sneaky and like to escape. So they need a home with a fenced in yard. That being said it turns out the road we moved to is extremely busy road and they get out and I'm afraid one will get hit. Yes we could fix the fence but the property we are on this would be a fortune plus we need the pastured fencing. First we have Alicia she is our oldest, she is 9 and she is a chubby little thing. She gets that because she is half miniture American escamo and then she gets her colorings because she is half Yorkie, black with brown markings. Second we have katness, she is about 5 now, she is also half Yorkie with the same mom and has the featured markings of the Yorkie but the father was a long haired chawawa and so she has golden hair from him and longer hair with the white for the markings of the Yorkie. Now as to their flaws before we get into how wonderful they are so you know what their personalities are right up front. They both are well potty trained and use a doggy door, rain, snow or shine. If they don't have a doggy door they will ruff at you to go but unfortunately they do have little doggy syndrome which I call it as if you don't listen then they will unfortunately do business in the house. As I also mentioned before. Alicia doesn't do well with chickens so farm life just isn't for her. She is also getting to be an older dog and likes her own space to not be bothered when she gets sleepy and will show teeth at other animals to tell them to get out of her bubble. Now if we haven't scared you away yet. Both love kids, Maybe not so much babies as I said both have never bit a kid, Alicia is getting to be old doesn't like to be mangled by youngsters anymore. Although katness on the other hand absolutely loves to be mangled but she doesn't relise how bad her claws hurt. Probably never will. She loves to run and jump when she sees you. Way to excited lol. Alicia is also very pertective of her younger sister. Older kids for both of them would be ideal. Or even an older person. They both love to lay with you and snugle at bed time. They both also do amazing on car rides, camping and walking. They both are trained to be offleash walkers. We have got so many complements on how well they behave at parks and trails. They are what i call a retractable imaginary leash. They are dogs and have noses and will like to wonder but you call and they come right back. If you are looking for a beach dog. Alicia would love you to the moon and back it is her favorite. You let her out and she will have you laughing so much as she darts back and forth in happiness. They both would work for great emotioanl service dogs. Alicia doesn't like anyone upset and we called her sister nurse because she will come up and kiss and cuddle you. Katness is also a very good dog for an older person. My grammys had dementia and between her dog and Katness, sometimes both she would Carry her around. For kids who want a doggy to sleep with they both will lay down and will stay all night cuddled up. Katness loves other animals. She plays with any little dog or big dog that comes around, even our cats and our bunny. So if you want loving loyal dogs to give lots of treats to and you think they maybe a good fit for you and/or family please reach out. We are not in an extremely big hurry to rehome them as we are to finding the best home for them. Alicia does have a soar tale because sometimes she bites at it. The doctor says it is a nurves thing. It is rare but happens. We are asking for a $100 rehoming fee to make sure they go to a good home. Both are fixed, up to date on shots, licensed in Washington county and have been given their flea meds. They have also 4 or 5 prescription flea meds that are about $25 each at their vet. They have seen the same vet their whole lives and medical records can be transfered when rehomed to new family. If the new owners are ok with it then My kids would like to beable to visit with them. They do need to be rehomed together. Will not consider separation. Please email me if you would like to meet them. Thank you for reading and we look forward to meeting with you.
