The event honors the best work of 2021 in broadcast journalism throughout the Chesapeake region. 2022 Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association Convention!Registration is open for the annual event honoring outstanding broadcast journalism in Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. This year's convention will be held June 3-5 at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City, Md. Activities kick off Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a Crab Feast and Auction to benefit the Bob Shilling Memorial Scholarship, followed by Saturday’s 9:00 a.m. business meeting and seminar: "Pandemic Producing--Lessons Learned Covering COVID." Then there's the Awards Reception & Banquet at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night, buffet breakfast on Sunday, and of course, the BEACH throughout the weekend!
