Join the CCHM as we welcome the Illinois Traction Society President and historian Dale Jenkins to speak about the history of the ITS. This month we welcome Dale Jenkins to the museum to tell the facinating story of William McKinley's Electric Railroad, the Illinois Traction System. The talk will discuss the impacts of this "home grown" transportation system that revolutionized the way cities were connected, new markets created, and an entire state stiched together. This talk coincides with the museum's current exhibit William McKinley's Road of Good Service which will be veiwable before the talk begins. The talk will be in-person but also broadcast on Facebook Live to allow those across the country to watch and ask questions. Seating is limited to 20 people so please register today!
