SECAUCUS, NJ — A day after Secaucus public schools made the dramatic announcement they are implementing a series of half days to prepare for virtual classes due to coronavirus, Hudson Regional Hospital distributed hand sanitizers to all the Secaucus school students on Wednesday. Kristin Hyman, who is chief of the EMS/ambulance squad at Hudson Regional, and Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli distributed the hand sanitizer to all PreK-12 children and staff. Hyman gave instructions to students on the proper way to use it to avoid the spread of germs. In total, Hudson Regional Hospital donated 3,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to Secaucus public school students Wednesday, in response to the coronavirus.
