SECAUCUS, NJ — A man who has been arrested multiple times in the past on burglary charges throughout Hudson County is now charged with breaking into three separate Secaucus businesses last week.
The businesses that were broken into are Poke Bros., Firenza Pizza and the Vitamin Shoppe, all located in the Harmon Meadow shopping complex.
Richard Medina, 55, of West New York, was arrested.
All three businesses, which are located within steps of each other, were broken into last Thursday night, Oct. 8, said police. Police say Medina used a pry tool to pry open doors to the businesses.
Police say Medina stole cash from Poke Bros. and Firenza Pizza.
Medina was charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft and burglar tools. He has been arrested before and charged with burglaries at the Port Imperial apartment complex in West New York as well as at the Galaxy Towers penthouse apartments in Guttenberg, where police say he stole $50,000 worth of jewelry from various apartments.
Guttenberg Police Investigator Joseph Keselica once described Medina to the Hudson Reporter as "a career criminal."
