Join us to help beautify the Chastain Arts Center grounds with a community clean-up! The Chastain Arts Center is hosting an Earth Day celebration to beautify the grounds of the Arts Center on Friday, April 22nd from 11A – 3P. 🌎You can find us in Historic Chastain Park in Buckhead. Our Earth Day celebration & workday is open to all! All individuals are welcome to participate. Arrive anytime between 11A -2:30P and meet us in the Chastain Arts Center parking lot and check-in to find a task within your abilities. We will be picking up trash, pulling weeds, and beautifying areas around the Center with colorful blooms. 🌼 We will also be repainting our outdoor picnic tables, so let us know if this is a job for you! Our Chastain Friends of the Arts will be providing light refreshments and snacks for our volunteers. Bringing work gloves is suggested to get started playing in the dirt, although we will be providing gloves, tools, and planting materials for the event. If you are unable to participate physically, we are accepting donations of soil, flats of native blooms, and moral support.
