Eric Holzworth was a Class of 1987 Thomas Jefferson High School graduate, University of Pittsburgh Engineering School graduate, Pitt footbal Eric Holzworth was a Class of 1987 Thomas Jefferson High School graduate, University of Pittsburgh Engineering School graduate, Pitt football Co-captain, entrepreneur and business owner.  More importantly, he was an unparalleled husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and teammate.  In the Fall of 2017, Eric Holzworth was taken from us in a tragic swimming accident at his family vacation home near Jacksonville, Florida. His loss was deeply felt by the thousands of lives he touched and made a little bit better during his own life.  Eric’s enduring spirit lives on in his wife, Heather, and their beautiful children: Ben, Juliette, and Reis as well as with his family, friends and associates.  We wish to honor that spirit, celebrate Eric’s life, and further his legacy.  We hope you can attend the "18 Holz Golf Classic - PITTSBURGH" and join in the effort toward making a difference in the lives of college bound student-athletes, in the memory of Eric.  Proceeds benefit the Eric M. Holzworth Memorial Foundation. The foundation has established the Eric M. Holzworth Endowed Football Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh.
