Are you a skilled carpenter or construction worker looking for work here in the bay area? Will look no further! CThurlo Construction is a fast growing company here in the north bay looking to hire experienced Construction Workers and Carpenters for an array of commercial and residential projects. Carpenters must be able to perform the following duties: • Accuracy taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed for a project. • Skilled in use of all tools necessary to cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements. • Able to build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items. • Able to install items such as hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation is a plus. • Skills needed to lay out flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring they are level, plumb, and installed with as little waste possible. • Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed. • Ability to assemble/build scaffolding and other needed construction structures. Construction Workers must be able to perform the following duties: • Preparing construction sites, materials & tools. • Loading and unloading of materials, tools & equipment. • Removing debris, garbage, & materials from site. • Assembling & breaking down barricades, temporary structures & scaffolding. • Assisting foreman, carpenters & field superintendent. • Digging holes, tunnels & shafts. • Mixing, pouring & leveling concrete.
