Bring in the new season with a Spring hike as we explore the trails of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge for migrating birds! Now that Spring is here Michigan will be getting visitors from the South. These feathered visitors from South America and Central America are coming to our area to start and raise families. Come meet and greet your new neighbors at the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge with our partner, Craig Perdue. Please note: 1. The hike will be on the Humbug Marsh Unit beginner trail a. For this hike a pair of tennis shoes would be appropriate footwear 2. You are responsible for bringing sunscreen, water, snacks, etc. 3. Binoculars will be available for use.
