Join us for a day of percussion, music, and inspiration at the 9th Annual Downriver Day of Percussion! The 9th Annual Downriver Day of Percussion (DDOP) is a day of clinics and workshops designed to provide unique opportunities for percussionists looking to grow as musicians. We are so happy to once again be offering this incredible opportunity for our regional percussion students. DDOP is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2022, with doors opening at 9am. This one-day annual event has been growing each year; growing in enrollment, quality, variety, and sheer volume of clinics/workshops. Each year we shower an abundance of swag, sticks, mallets, music, literature, and drums to enhance their collections! Best of all, DDOP provides more than 100 attendees and clinicians the chance to get to know one another. Here at DDOP, we provide hands-on workshops, where time is spent with clinicians developing unique and helpful skills in the world of percussion. Past clinicians have included, Motor City Percussion, Lake Effect Percussion, Bill Bachman, Sean Dobbins, John F. Dorsey, Larry Fratangelo, David Zerbe, Keith Hall, Jason Ihnat, Joshua Jones, Mike List, Yun Ju Pan, Pete Siers, Mark Stone, Kurry Seymour, and many more! One thing is for sure... it is worth it!
