Definitive Solutions & Technologies is a waterjet cutting service provider located in Auburn, WA. We are currently looking for a machine operator to setup, run and maintain an abrasive waterjet. The operator will also inspect the parts they make and perform other duties such as organizing material and other various tasks. The ideal candidate will be reliable, honest, precise, industrious and mechanically adept. They must be able to work independently and with a team. Experience is not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate. Essential Duties • Will help DS&T maintain its technological lead through innovative solutions to cutting challenges. • Reports to Project Manager. • Operate Abrasive Waterjet cutting machine and other equipment. • Inspect parts. • Maintain & service equipment. • Keep material shelving organized. • Maintain warehouse. • Interact with customers. Qualifications • Lift 70 pounds • Be able to stand for long periods of time • Be able to bend, stoop and reach • Drive Forklift • Computer experience • Experience with Microsoft software is a plus • Work 2nd shift • Work independently • Work as a team • Understand, read & speak English • Mechanical aptitude • Mill, lathe, Router, CNC experience a plus (Set up; G-Code) • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen
