Compensation: Competitive pay depending on experience Bonus Opportunities  The Opportunity: The Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician is one of the primary persons responsible for the ongoing maintenance of a multi-million-dollar multi-family property. The position reports directly to either the Maintenance Supervisor or in some cases the Community Manager and is responsible for the community's overall physical condition and value. Responsibilities include maintaining the physical condition of the exterior of the property and the interior of vacant units, light maintenance requests or apartment turns and effectively running daily operational maintenance. Primary Responsibilities: Remove litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds Paint both exterior and interior of buildings as directed by management Help prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, including painting where required Ensure dumpster area is clean and the doors are closed Replace exterior light bulbs as needed Responsible for exterior maintenance items such as, window screens, sliding glass doors, etc. Assist with apartment move outs as directed by management Serve on weekends and nights for emergency maintenance calls when assigned Work with the maintenance department as directed in maintaining the community Be a team player with good communication skills and positive attitude for residents, co-workers, vendors and customers Know where the community, apartments and plumbing shot-off valves are located in case of an emergency Other duties as assigned by management Do you fit the Bill?: Minimum of one year experience as a groundskeeper or like position Essential capabilities include commitment to meet deadlines, integrity, and work ethic Must be able to operate and use various tools Strong communication, customer service and problem resolution skills Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative Must have a valid California Drivers license and have a vehicle to drive between properties Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Click on link to apply:
