Want to make a difference in your community??? Join DOWNTOWN STREETS TEAM! What we do here is we case manage those that are currently homeless or at risk of being homeless. We provide support in looking for jobs,resume building, obtaining vital documents ( Birth certificates, ID, License etc.…) with the ultimate goal of housing. We offer a work experience program where our team members can volunteer and gain gift cards every week by doing clean ups around the city. Not only are they receiving something for their effort but they are also making a difference in their community by cleaning up the city! We also do outreach around the more severe areas In Salinas and pass out items such as hygiene kits, jackets and clothing. We are always looking for new team members! And all are welcome ! You guys are more than welcome to send anyone who would be interested in our services to our meetings every Wednesday at the PAL Building 100 Howard st Salinas CA 93901. Meetings start at 12:30 PM every Wednesday. To join they will have to attend this meeting.
