Description
MILFORD, MA — The Milford Board of Health will continue its recent series of COVID-19 booster clinics on Tuesday with shots available at Town Hall.
Milford will offer the new second booster shot at the clinic, which federal health officials recently approved for people over age 50, and people over age 12 who are moderately to severely immunocompromised and had their last booster over four months ago.
Milford's clinic will offer the Moderna version of the booster, which is so far only available to people over age 18.
It's been more than a year since COVID-19 vaccines became widely available to the public. The first booster doses were offered last fall. The second booster — which would be a fourth dose for people who got the Moderna or Pfizer versions — became available at the end of March after an OK from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Milford held its first second booster clinic on April 6.
Milford's booster clinic will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Town Hall, 52 Main St. Follow this link to register for Milford's booster clinic.
