Press release from the Baltimore County Police Department: April 08, 2022 On April 7, at approximately 5:00 a.m., a Chevrolet Malibu struck a pedestrian on Liberty Road at the intersection of Old Court Road. Afterwards, the Malibu fled the scene. The 15-year-old, who was struck, had just exited an MTA bus. The teen was crossing Liberty Road when she was struck by the Malibu traveling westbound. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital where she remains in critical condition. Members of the Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team continue to investigate this case. The suspect vehicle is a silver, four-door Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2015). The vehicle has a moon roof, dark-tinted windows and an unidentifiable round sticker on the passenger rear window. This vehicle has damage to the passenger side front quarter panel. The outer grill is also missing in the area of the fog lamp. The photo below with the grill circled resembles the suspect's car. The second photo is the suspect's vehicle. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle is asked to immediately contact police at 410-887-5396.
