Cat Hit By Car In Summit, Police Searching For Owner

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Police announced Saturday on Facebook that a cat was hit by a car near Kent Place School, and upon arrival the cat was found dead. Police said officers are certain this is a house cat and are trying to locate the owner. The accident occurred on the 400 block of Morris Avenue, Police said. The cat is described as a healthy, well-groomed, large male, gray/tan tabby with white paws and no collar.
