SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests: On April 5 at 4:23 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department detective division regarding fraudulent use of a credit card, police arrested a 21-year-old male, Hocine Messaoudi of Secaucus, NJ for three counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H] and Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)]. Mr. Messaoudi was taken into custody at the 5000 building of Riverside Station Boulevard (the Xchange complex). Mr. Messaoudi was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On April 8 at 2:02 a.m., while on patrol the Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the area of 925 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year -old male, Frederick Bailey of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Bailey was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On April 8 at 7:31 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to 40 Enterprise Avenue on a report of an individual refusing to leave the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff's Office with no bail. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff's Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Byrd for transport back to their authority. On April 9 at 1:33 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 46-year-old male, Antonio Cano of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. Cano was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. Cano was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On April 10 at 10:55 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old female of Weehawken, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $74. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. These charges are merely accusations and those named are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
