Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: April 8, 2022 JEFFERSON, LA – On Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., the Dawn Busters Kiwanis Club will be hosting the First Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lafreniere Park (3000 Downs Blvd., Metairie, LA 70003). The Easter egg hunts will be held at 2:45 p.m. and 3:50 p.m., and will be divided into three fields by the following age groups: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-10. Admission is $10 per child and open to children ages 0-10. Please note, a printed ticket or confirmation of purchase is required to enter the gates, and children will be given wristbands that must be worn to participate in all activities. Tickets can also be purchased onsite with either cash or credit card. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets. "Easter egg hunting has been celebrated by many families for years, and what better way than to bring the citizens of Jefferson Parish together to enjoy this great tradition." Children can visit various candy booths during the event, as well as enjoy rides on the carousel, play in the kids' play park, enjoy bounce houses, face painting, rope pulling, photo booths, a small animal area and much more!
