CONCORD, NH — Concord police are asking for the public's help identifying those involved in a fight and shooting downtown on Sunday. Around 1:30 p.m., police were sent to the area of North Main and Park streets to investigate a report of a fight and gunfire. "During the altercation, one of the subjects discharged a firearm into the air," Det. Sgt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department. "Based on information obtained at the scene, it was determined that all involved parties were somewhat familiar with each other and that this was not a random incident." Police were requested to stop and hold any of the bikers, and they were warned to use "extreme caution" if and when they found any members of the club. It is unknown how many bikers fled the scene, but witnesses reported seeing a black and orange Harley-Davidson with a man driving it wearing sunglasses and a black cap on backward. Another biker was riding a black Harley-Davidson, wearing all black and a helmet. Another witness reported one of the bikes had a Massachusetts license plate. Main Street has been reopened, and Yerkes said there was "no threat of danger to the general public," and police are still investigating the incident.
