TULLYTOWN, PA — A Bucks County police sergeant is being credited with saving a woman's life over the weekend.
According to the Tullytown Borough Police Department, Sgt. Andrew Bunda responded to a medical call on Saturday, April 9. Upon arrival, Bunda determined that woman they found was overdosing.
After administering Narcan, Bunda proceeded to ventilate the woman for about 10 minutes. An ambulance arrived shortly thereafter and continued medical treatment.
"The woman survived due to Sgt. Bunda's quick response and life-saving measures," the police department said in a statement.
One of the responding EMS staff members said "Sgt. Bunda saved a life today."
