Original band seeking bassist - pop, indie, rock, soul

We are drums, keyboard, guitar, and female vocals, playing almost entirely original material (1 or 2 covers in an hour set). Our goal is to play anywhere from 1-3 shows per month and rehearse about three times per month as well. Our sound is melodic, hooky, and a combination of pop, rock, blues, and soul, with touches of jazz. Age-wise, we're looking for someone in their late twenties to early forties - experienced, responsible, good communicator, reliable, has transportation, punctual, etc. The goal with this is to write, record, and perform. We are looking for a committed musician who understands that an original project doesn't have much money in it -- though, that could change once we get the right gigs in place. We hope to work with people who are fun and laid back but also take the craft seriously and have the skill, theory background, and gear to sound amazing. Looking for a true bassist, not a guitarist who plays bass.
