DANBURY, CT — The Hat Tricks have named a new head coach, the second since the local Federal Prospects Hockey League team formed shortly over a year ago. Anthony Bohn, former assistant coach of the Maine Mariners, comes to Danbury via the Maine Mariners, ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, where he was an assistant coach for two seasons. Prior to the Mariners, Bohn was an assistant coach for the Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL for two seasons. "Anthony is going to be a tremendous asset for us," Hat Tricks' GM Billy McCreary said in news release. "He's a high-quality coach and a better person." During the team's inaugural season, the Hat Tricks were in first place in the Eastern Division when the league cancelled the rest of the season due to the coronavirus outbreak. "I'm really excited," Bohn said. "I've been calling and video chatting with Billy [McCreary] and some of the guys, it seems like we've got a great tight-knit group." Bohn and McCreary are still in the process of accumulating the Hat Tricks' roster for the 2020-21 season.
