NW Book Rescue is currently seeking candidates for Warehouse Associate (FT or PT) and Warehouse Lead (FT only) positions. Duties will center around: - sorting and processing various media - maintaining organization and tidiness of warehouse - shipping/receiving - operating forklift (previous experience would be great, but is not necessary, we will train) Job requirements: - High level of dependability with a strong work ethic - Safety-conscious with ability to demonstrate safe working habits - Ability to stand for long durations and lift up to 50 lbs without trouble - Comfortable working in fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality of work and safety - Focus on efficiency and productivity For the lead position (full-time only), additional duties / responsibilities will include: - Overseeing productivity and efficiency of sorting / receiving department - Managing all incoming and outgoing shipments - Improving and maintaining organization of warehouse - Working with management to implement new processes or improve existing workflow - Directing and training other staff - We are a small business that is growing quickly, providing ample growth opportunities for candidates that are self-motivated and able to work independently and productively without direct supervision - To start, shift will be Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with possibility of overtime for the right fit. Education and Experience: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required - Previous relevant experience helpful not required. The most important considerations in the hiring process for this position will be strong work ethic and positive attitude.
