Description
Background: Political campaign is launching an aggressive field campaign in the Los Angeles area. Organizers will be placed in a designated area in order to maximize voter turnout in the district.
Roles/Duties:
● Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure.
● Build a strong understanding of the area for Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts.
● Provide daily reports of voter contact
● Work with campaign staff to implement organizational goals across the district.
Job Requirements:
● Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)
● Full availability for the last two weeks before an Election is required.
● Ability to work weekends and nights, especially leading up to the election.
● Detail oriented and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
● Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required.
● Positive attitude and commitment.
Compensation:
$20/hour.
