Looking for a drummer, bassist, guitarist, and keyboard player to form a new line-up for indie rock jam band AM Clouds. Formed in 2017, AM Clouds was very active for three years. We were fortunate to get some good press and share the stage with some great bands, including King Black Acid and the Mother Hips. The original line-up disbanded in February 2020 shortly after the release of our debut album Rainmaker. As the founding member and songwriter of the group, I am looking for folks interested in joining me to pick up where the band left off (comparisons to Uncle Tupelo, REM, Tom Petty) and head into a more experimental improvisational direction. As much as I like the Grateful Dead, my idea of a great jam band is more along the lines of Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Meat Puppets, Television, and Sonic Youth. If you appreciate sturdy rock tunes AND can navigate a psych rock noise jam that sticks the chorus, I'd love to hear from you. Solid musicianship, easy going personalities, eclectic taste, vintage and/or interesting noise making gear, and harmony singing all a huge plus. My goal for the group is to play locally / regionally as much as possible and within 1-2 years do some touring. Thanks for reading. Cheers!
