DANBURY, CT — A motorist was hospitalized after a crash on Lake Avenue Extension Wednesday morning, police said. The crash happened around 7 a.m. Police said the driver of a 2011 BMW i was traveling eastbound on the road and struck two utility poles. The driver was taken to Danbury Hospital. Police said anyone with information on the crash should contact them at 203-797-2157.
