Nasim and Sons Landscaping is hiring for a new Irrigation Technician for its Puyallup branch. As an Irrigation Technician, you are responsible to monitor, service, and repair irrigation systems, and perform other landscape maintenance tasks when irrigation season slows. We work on both residential and commercial properties. The majority of the work will be on commercial properties we provide landscape maintenance for. Benefits and Pay: -The wage range is $27 to $30 per hour and is dependent upon experience. -Cell phone reimbursement -Company Truck -Weekly Pay -Health, Dental, and Life insurance -Paid time off, paid holidays, on the job training, and opportunities for growth. -Uniforms are provided Work Schedule You’ll work Monday to Friday, up to 10-hour shifts (with overtime in the peak season), starting between 7:00 am depending on the season. Your workday is finished when the route is complete, which is around 8-10 hours, but this can vary. What You’ll Do Renovate, troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems Evaluate irrigation systems and report conditions to Account Manager Provide suggestions and pricing to Account Manager to upgrade irrigation systems Perform spring turn-ons and winterizations Recommend Weathermatic irrigation products and upgrades to Account Manager Program irrigation controllers both in the field and remotely. Stock service vehicle with proper parts and tools in an organized manner Properly complete paperwork on work performed in a timely manner Use powered and hand tools. Work outside in all weather conditions What You’ll Need 1 year irrigation repair experience minimum. References will be checked. Experience in irrigation programing Valid driver license with insurable record Enjoy working on a team of professionals, working hard, and following instructions. Able to work alone and manage your own time. Able to use a smartphone and work apps to document hours and work completed Show up on time and ready for work each day. Able to pass a pre-employment drug test Have legal documentation to work in the United States. Be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, climb, and squat. Able to lift 50 pounds daily.
