2022 Great Pondweed Pull

In June of 2022 the Rice lake Association, Inc. will employ persons 18 and over to hand pull the invasive aquatic species, Curly Leaf Pondweed in Rice Lake in Iron County. Those persons can expect to work as crew-members in light aluminum boats and be on the water up to 8 hours per day. Each employee will work up to 80 hours, total, over a two-week (or more) period. The exact dates will be May 31st-June 10th. The pay will be at an hourly rate of $15.00 to be paid weekly.
