We are a small family owned and operated business seeking a driver/helper to join our team. A great attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are a must. JOB PREREQUISITES Qualified applicants must: • have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. • have at least one year of experience driving a truck and trailer loaded with equipment. • be self-motivated, positive, and willing to perform multiple job tasks as needed. • be able to show a professional demeanor on every jobsite. • be able to come to work on time and every day. • be able to take instruction and follow safety rules. • be able to lift at least 80 pounds. • be able to work outdoors in both hot and cold weather and varying weather conditions. • be able to legally work in the United States. JOB DUTY DESCRIPTION • Gather tools, equipment and materials needed to complete project. • Check truck and trailer for proper working condition. If unsafe conditions are found, correct them or alert supervisor. • As applicable, attach trailer, load tools, equipment and materials. • Confirm that all equipment has been safely loaded and secured. • If material pick-up is required, confirm that correct materials and quantities have been provided by supplier. • Determine safe and appropriate locations to park truck and trailer at josite. • If Client is present, greet them in a friendly manner. • Safely unload tools, equipment, and materials and stockpile in appropriate location on jobsite. • Physically assist the crew with all phases of construction. • Use hand and power tools. • Remove trash and debris from jobsite each day. • Make sure tools are clean and all items are neatly loaded onto the truck and trailer at the end of everyday. • Collect material receipts, label them with the job name, and turn them in to the office at the end of every day. • Take photos of various stages of work using company app. Other Job Duties: • On days when the weather is not conducive to construction, complete other maintenance tasks at the construction yard such as organizing tools and materials, maintaining equipment, etc. • Attend staff meetings. • Attend safety and educational seminars. • Other duties as specified by the supervisor.
