Warehouse Shipping Associate Our client is the premier event planning, design, and party rental company servicing the Pacific Northwest and the west coast – from Portland and Seattle to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Position Summary The primary responsibilities of the Warehouse Shipping Associate are involved in the accurate, safe, and efficient loading of trucks, the pulling of inventory, restocking inventory and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Strong candidates will be considered for a "Lead" position Essential Functions and Responsibilities and Duties: • Load and unload trucks as directed. • Ensure material returned to warehouse is inspected and functional prior to returning to inventory • Create and maintain a safe, clean, well-organized work environment • Maintain an accurate inventory of all rental equipment • Ensuring proper protective covers are used for transporting all equipment. • Enforce paperwork policies; including loading paperwork, equipment tagging, vehicle logging, etc. • Ensure all setup equipment and support items are included in delivery and pickup; i.e. ladders, hand trucks, and lifts • Comply with all safety and OSHA standards Abilities: • Work at a quick tempo. • Follow instructions • Be flexible • Meet deadlines • Work independently • Be able to lift up to 50lbs independently and 75lbs with assistance. Education: • High school or equivalent • Valid Oregon Driver’s License and good motor vehicle record • Inventory experience required. Day Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
