Hi, I'm Merlin (I'm Good with other calm dogs big and small). I am set to be euthanized 4/16, 8:00 am! Why am I E-listed? Depression and stress. Too big for my kennel. Too old to be in here! Are these reasons to take my life away? NO! Need adopter Asap! Can you save my life? They don't get any calmer than me. I'm a 6-year-old, neutered, yellow German Shepherd (125 lbs.). When I came in as a stray, I was very friendly. Sadly, I have become more anxious the longer I have been at the shelter. I was stressing out so bad, I was seen with my face up against the kennel wall panting with anxiety! I was then put on medication which has helped. I am calm and relaxed when out and walk great on a leash. My calm nature can also be due to depression. It is suggested that I am fine with small and large dogs as long as they are friendly and calm. I am just too old to be at a shelter! I'm a large dog and I can barely turn around in the kennel! I have done nothing wrong and do not deserve to die! Will you come meet me before it is too late?
