As well as paid time off. ***Immediate Openings:*** - Concrete Finishers and Carpenters - FDOT / County / Public Work Experience Preferred. - Must have highway construction experience. Applicants must be able to perform the following task: Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete slabs, sidewalks, curbs to specified textures, using hand tools or power tools including floats, trowels and screeds Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency Mix sand and cement, and concrete by hand Use float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straightedge, float or power screed Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder, chisel or hammer Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound material Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointer or straight edge Mix concrete using a mixing machine Add material to concrete to produce required finish Break up and repair old concrete surfaces Familiarity with Plans, FDOT Specifications, County and City Specifications.
