It is said, man was made in God's image, yet for the last five millennia or so, man has tried to make God in his image; mean, petty, vengeful, vindictive and very, very angry. I was raised by folk who taught me what you preach, and I believed them too. They were people I trusted and respected. But sadly, they lied to me. I was given a great gift in life. I became a hopeless alcoholic & drug addict. For people like me, there is no cure, no hope with the exception of a spiritual miracle. In Alcoholics Anonymous, a solution was offered for my dilemma, a simple, twelve step guide to a spiritual awakening. In the fellowship, my eyes were opened wide. Not only was I offered the gift of freedom, so where people that I had been taught were "damned" (Jews, homosexuals, whores, murderers, thieves, adulterers.) Now grant you, after becoming spiritually awake, the whores, murderers and thieves became new people, but the homosexuals remained active members of the gay community. God doesn't hate gays, my friend. He loves everyone and wants us to learn to love him back. Please stop fighting against his will. "Saul, Saul...it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." Acts 9:4,5. "A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. John 13:34,35.
