Fire sprinkler service and installation company is looking for shop Assistant for our Seattle location. Essential Functions: - Follow instruction and achieve assigned task - Able to drive larger vehicle and make delivery around Washington, rare trip will be up to Bellingham sometime, but not all the time typical is around 40min 1 way. - Able to learn and operate and front lift - Able to learn/read and pick materials from our shop - Able to learn our pipe machine and make fabrication - Able to lift some weight - No drug, able to follow safely guideline and maintain our shop with safely hazard (including keep our shop organize and clean) - Able to work early shift, typical start time is 6am Work Environment: - Frequent walking, standing, and lifting loads. - Frequent work in areas with high noise levels. - Occasional visits to off-site vendors and customers via company truck. Requirements: - Current WA State Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in fabrication shop, especially for pipe fabrication - Experience operating a forklift. - Experience with basic measurements and tool usage to include chop saw and other power tools.
