Catahoula Dog to Good Home

We have a 9-month old unaltered Catahoula dog who needs a good home. He is a sweet dog, knows some commands, but needs an experienced, kind but firm person who can help him learn better manners and can handle him. We were given him by a military service member who is transferring, and unfortunately with a child and an adult with medical issues who he keeps pushing into, we are not the right family for him. He is up to date on vaccinations, comes with a kennel and his bag of toys, his harnesses, and some care products (shampoo, etc). He is not neutered, we were going to have it done but we haven’t had him more than a few weeks. We want him to go to the right family who will love him as we tried to. Because he is so strong and likes to play a little rough, we don’t recommend he go to a home with a child under 8-10. He needs a job to do, and he needs someone home with him most of the day. He’s very good with other dogs, and he does like children but he’s just a little too strong for them.
