Aside from the usual rants we post when searching For the next “chosen one“… By taking notes(like were some authority) On your experiences as you attempt to line your pockets with gold And hopefully advance our cause as a trade off. The one thing that makes a potential worker a best pic above all Is consistency. Though these are “Giggs“ and not expected to last Eternity, you must still be present however Long you’re here or with any post. We value a person who can show they have invested something with their former, any former, Employer. Some say we set ourselves up for failure when we demand qualities that none possess in this job market. Pity the nation that loses sight of the most basic elements or qualities in it’s work Force. Like anything we must reward good behavior, productive behavior with preferential treatment. Someone who has a work history with virtually no job that lasted more than a week Is a red flag. It tells us, most likely, to move onto the next one. Find someone who does know the value of having had a more long-term commitment to themselves and as a result to a business Whether it be ours or someone else’s. Why you say? What business is it of ours? It’s completely our business.everybody wants more pay everybody wants more more more. We say put your money where your mouth is. To accept a position however long it is and spend most of your day on our Clock, fielding calls From your attempt at finding easier and more profitable work. Whether it be the custodian in a church three nights a week or a competitor in the landscape industry or any host of the gig/jobs offered when you show up, most likely hi,(or just stupid as sin) And proceed to get on your device The vast majority of the day “taking calls that you say are your mother inquiring what time your 30 year old self will be getting off work so she can drive another 40 minutesTo pick you up.… Note others, people posting and trying to find suitable workers, are not impressed when you show up And attempt to impress us with “I know famous people“ I’m a professional actor blah blah blah. Just for the record. We were hiring For someone to assist us with our landscaping business. If we had wanted what we got instead our post would have read something more like “looking for 30+ year old people living at home with their parents Who drive them everywhere because the courts will not allow them legal right to own or operate any thing that has an internal combustion engine. One has to assume that means electric or hybrid. But it was funnier to say internal combustion engine. If we wanted people to show up high or simply dumb as sin, the post would say as much. Should you respond to this gig and are not able to stay off your device for any reason same or otherwise that is your prerogative. We will deduct that time from Your total hours. When you can’t be found that is a super Duper red flag. Where did he go where did she go they were here and now they’re gone And find you talked away in a corner somewhere on your device… We have no problem with people with longer-term goals whatever they may be in whatever industry they may be in. It makes for interesting conversation. Should your goals and our goals be in direct conflict with each other then we tell you now we’re going to pull the employer card every time. No democracy no Discussion of the matter. End of discussion. We offer this to all who read this post. Be a realist. You may feel like you’re at the top of the food chain with what appears to be little effort as far as performance And even less in terms of planning. Word to the wise put some bite into opportunities you may be enjoying at the present. The borders won’t be closed forever and once that’s been worked out (interestingly enough it’s going nowhere in Congress by the very people who we are employing )and the market is flooded with people who are willing to work and More importantly wanting to work, the only thing that may give you a leg up in a market with tons and tons of people who showReady to go wanting to go, Would be your proof of commitment to a position. Like any waive your riding…enjoy while it last And above all else remember this post. Should you come groveling begging for work in the future Where borders have been worked out and those who are ready willing and able to work are able to do so with safe passage we will be happy to remind you Of the damage you and people like you did to our bottom line.The cancer to a nation Astate a city a business With no regard… Paybacks are a… Oh well you fill in the blank. Please be realistic when Responding to post. If you’re relying on Someone else fortransportation and you live in Midwest city Or wherever that’s not Northwest OKC we’re gonna question you on it. If you’re at a non 405 phone number (worse if it’s collect )we probably won’t even respond. If you’re going to choose a text only conversation we’re probably not going to respond. For starters we’ve never had any luck with non-405 numbers And most importantly here’s the part where you wanna take notes it’s not professional. Anyone who does that when the post says don’t do it and you do it anyway… 405-408-5089. To the scammer jammers and other flakes And, yes, those who we do want to hear from… Get your pen out and put this one inAll caps. There is a difference between professionalism and arrogance. Arrogance is a red flag. It tells us you think we’re as dumb as apparently many you’ve encountered who post. Employers like us want to think that we’re both going to benefit from knowing each other. Note to the wise if you’re going to come across like you’ve been around the block so many times you could do it blindfolded… Get a Gig driving people to the airport
