From the Town of Clinton: July 22, 2020 Message from the Registrar of Voters regarding voting by Absentee Ballot: In effort to protect the health and safety of our voters, each municipality has been provided with an absentee ballot drop box. This drop box will provide each voter with a safe and trusted method for the contactless delivery of their absentee ballots. The town clerk is the only one with access to this drop box and it is available for deposit 24 hours a day. It is located in front of our Town Hall at 54 East Main Street. It is clearly marked, as there is another box nearby for other town offices. Please note, that the polls will be open August 11 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for in person voting. The polling area will be undergoing continuous cleaning thru out the day, following the guide lines set in place by the CDC.
