Flower child Emmy is thriving in foster care but she’s ready to take her place with her very own forever family. Emmy’s smile hides a turbulent past. A rescue pulled her out of an apartment where she was abandoned without food, water or air conditioning after her owner went to jail. As luck would shine its fleeting light upon our Emmy, she was adopted from the rescue to be an emotional support dog for her human. A life of always being by the side of your best friend was more than Emmy could ever had dreamed! But after only a year, her human was killed in a drive by, leaving poor Emmy abandoned and alone once again. After the unexpected death of her human Emmy was skeptical about trusting anyone; but with time and love she has really come around and opened up. Emmy loves life, the outdoors and tennis balls. She is the perfect mix of Sunday afternoon lazy and bold adventurer. Emmy is a 3 year old pit bull and she comes spayed, vaccinated, fully trained and loving all people including kids. Emmy does not do well with cats and is selective about her dog companions. She rides well in a car, walks great on a leash, does NOT chew your stuff, does NOT excessively bark, does NOT dig in your yard, and loves to nap on your couch. Emmy is a people pleaser making her highly trainable and obedient. Home checks are required. Please do not contact if you are not willing to allow a home visit. Rehoming fee applies.
