Glen's Auto Service LLC has been open for 20+ years. Located near Costco Waipio area. Very clean shop, you can eat off of the ground. Do not have a sign on shop, majority of customers come by referral thus coming with trust and that is all we ask for. We have a full-time position open for an Automotive Repair technician. Experience is a plus but depending on the person, open to taking in apprentice / mechanic helper position as well. 80-90% of vehicles we work on are Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Acura. Alignments get sent out close by and we do not sell / change tires. Owner will take care of logging the work orders, writing the repairs, ordering parts, and etc. Job Description and Qualifications: -Valid driver's license required -High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. -No experience necessary, but is a plus. -ASE certifications not required, but is a plus. -Bring your own "basic" tools however, tools such as press, spring compressor, jacks, hoists, and etc are provided. Responsibilities' include, but are not limited to: -Vehicle maintenance: oil change, check tire pressure, tire rotation. -Check / service brakes and suspension. -Check / service battery, alternator, and starters. -Engine repair. -Road test for mechanical soundness. Will not be left high and dry on any job. If help needed or any questions, someone is always there to help and give another perspective on the task. Never in a rush to get the vehicle out. Always allotted ample amount of time to get job finished, most of clientele have extra vehicles to get around in the mean time. For example, if a job calls for 4-6 hours, clientele is told it could take 2 days maybe more depending if there are any hiccups. If for some reason the car needs to get out as soon as possible, another tech will step in to help. Our mission is to get the car out in an acceptable period of time, while not rushing through, and keep the amount of comebacks at a minimum. TO APPLY: Reply to email on AD with your resume.
