Calypso, Reggae, Funk jams?

I am a musician and new to Maui. I have my Tenor steel pan I bought from Trinidad and Tobago after playing in Panorama during two Carnival seasons 2017 and 2018. What a blast. Talk about island music. Anyone living near North Kihei that enjoys island music… Hawaiian, Calyspo, Soca, Reggae, Funk and is interested in jamming a bit. I want to create some kind of groovy fusion with influence from those styles. I have my electric guitar which I rock real well and my steel pan I’ve been playing a couple years. I’m hoping to meet the homies that like to jam regularly. Nothing serious. It would be great to find a practice space where we can be loud without any worries. Looking for a drummer and a bass player that is interested in jamming it up consistently. I just want to groove and go for a laid back island music vibe. Maybe you already jam a lot and got a whole crew you play with, please consider inviting me over perhaps I can fit into whatever you’re already throwing down.
