Description
It is time for a new chapter in our lives. We must create space for joy, healing, and stillness and allow ourselves to align with nature. Join us in community to break from the doing and focus on being. We each need space for healing and nuturing, and for reconnecting with ourselves. Being in nature is truly the best way to unplug and refuel. In this gently guided weekend retreat, we will create space to reconnect with your breath, gentle body motion, and self-care practices that will nurture you well beyond the retreat. There will be time for gathering as we enjoy delicious farm-to-table meals, and time for stillness and silence. We arrive on Saturday, May 14, at 10:00 am for a welcome ceremony and then a delicious lunch in the kitchen and community room. You will be nestled in the most sustainable building in the Northeast. In the early afternoon we will offer movement and flow sessions, and a group conversation on healing and self-care practices.Later there will be time for a short afternoon nap or solitude practice and then we gather for dinner. Moving into the evening, we will bring instruments and music to raise our voices and vibration together. There will be joyful noise and sound healing. We will leave plenty of time for quiet as we move into smaller group conversations and on to sleep amongst the trees and rolling farm land. On Sunday, May 15, we awake with yoga flow and light stretching, along with a guided meditation and calming music. After breakfast we will walk with an Ecology School Guide to learn about the history and sustainable agriculture happening at the farm, and then we will create a solo experience for each of you along the Saco River. We will have a final gathering for lunch and a closing ceremony together before we check out and depart around 2:00pm. This lightly guided retreat will be compassionately and expertly led with Elizabeth Ross Holmstrom, nature connector, spiritual guide, and meditation practitioner. She will be joined by other spiritual and meditation guides as well."Elizabeth brings a calm and joy to the room and has a gift of making everyone feel seen and cared for." ...Maria Z. We must create space on a daily basis for our emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. The greatest journey begins with a single moment."In the woods and and in nature, we can feel our highest vibration and our connectedness as one with the Mother Earth and with all beings" ...Elizabeth The energy is shifting now so that we can vibrate with our highest possibility.
