Our team will walk you through the coffee cupping process, focusing on the sensory experience of smell and taste, with an emphasis on origin along the way. What is a coffee cupping? Coffee cupping is a full sensory experience starting with the smell of dry ground coffee and ending with slurping the coffee from a spoon so it is aerated and spread across the tongue, completing the tasting experience. Cupping is one of many ways to taste coffee, but perhaps the most efficient way to taste many different coffees side-by-side, while comparing flavors and differences in the cup.

This will be a part hands-on, part demonstration class for beginners or more experienced tasters. Come and expand your palate through tasting coffees of different origin, with the intention of distinguishing characteristics of flavors in coffee.
