Come celebrate May Day with us and faeries, as the world comes back from the dead! Think of how quickly we could heal this world if more of us were dancing, singing, storytelling and spending time in silence together, celebrating the seasons. Let's do it! Come join us! No experience necessary, no strings or obligations, just hearts gathered in celebration. We survived the pandemic! Let's celebrate the spring! Beltaine (also called May Day) is a beautiful time to promote wellness and reignite joy in body, mind and spirit. Come play! Dress up, paint your face, be silly. Dance the Maypole, get a healing, tell stories around the fire, walk the labyrinth, and find spring joy in the forest at Camp Long! Bring the kiddos! We’ll be at cabin #7. Follow the fairy trail from the parking lot! We are going to call the fairies! Bring them a flower or a crystal or something sparkly! Wear your Fairy best! Bright spring colors, flowers in your hair, fairy wings. We'll have face painting supplies! Bring your drum or rattle! We'll have a fun ritual with music, a fire and a Maypole! Walk the labyrinth! We'll have lots of fun fairy activities for kids of all ages! Bring nibbles and non-alcoholic beverages to share if you like! There will be a BBQ with briquets for grilling. Take a hike in the beautiful old-growth forest trails of Camp Long and offer the fairies your gift! You can ask them for Fairy-Sight or whatever you need in your life! This is a family-friendly, body-positive, LGBTQ-friendly, ALL-WELCOMING event. Tickets are for covering the costs of putting on the event including space rental, food and supplies. FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Children of all ages are invited to come play with us! Ages 12 and under are free! What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Driving: since the West Seattle bridge is still out, you'll have to follow your favorite map! When you get to 35th, go down about a mile, turn left on Dawson, and you'll be at the park's parking lot! There are about 50 spaces including handicapped spots at either end. There are also parking spots on Dawson and on 35th. Bus: 21 downtown metro or Westwood Village When you've parked, walk to the main building, turn left, and follow the trail to cabin #7. What can I bring into the event? Whatever your heart desires! Potluck item, tiny gift for the fairies, drum or rattle if you wish! How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Sheri Ellis, [email protected] or 425-298-6419 What's the refund policy? 100% up to 24 hours before the event. No refunds after that. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? It will make things easier but we'll have a printed list also. Can I update my registration information? Sure! Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Sure! Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Sure! Just make sure we know the name(s) of the people to expect!
