Jude is a full blooded male neutered mini schnauzer who has been well taken care of! We got him about 3 years ago. We think he is about 6-7 years old. No health issues - on his last vet check they told us his teeth needed cleaning. He walks great on a leash and is fully house trained. He is friendly with cats as long as he is socialized with them properly. He thinks he is an alpha dog, so he will try and be dominant over other small dogs and may provoke larger dogs. He has gotten himself bitten by a larger dog in the past. A home with another female dog and/or cat would be ideal. He also would benefit from a fenced in back yard for potty breaks if you can’t walk him on a leash. He will take off and not come back on command until he has had his fill of exploring the neighborhood. With whoever adopts him, he will be the loyal, obsessive best friend you would expect and want in a k-9 companion. With strangers entering/visiting the home, he is territorial and needs to be introduced properly or he can get nippy. With kids - he is great. He has been tortured by my son from 3-6yrs old, but I would be cautious with kids smaller than 7 or 8 since he is hitting the aging adult stage in life. A teenager or would make a great companion. He loves to sleep in the bed and cuddle with his person.
