The State of Black Girl Mental Health: Psychological Toll Black Girl Rising, Inc. continues our work towards ensuring the presence of Black girls in Franklin County is received in a way that say, “our girls are worth the time, energy and commitment.” Please join Black Girl Rising, Inc. for a panel discussion on, The State of Black Girl Mental Health: Psychological Toll. The panel will include representatives from Kaleidoscope Youth Center, Ohio First Family Council of Franklin County and the CARE Coalition. The session will be moderated by Charleta Tavares, CEO, PrimaryOne Health. Our panel will share insights and research on topics that are deeply impacting the mental, physical and emotional health of Black girls in our city and county: suicide ideation; trauma, LGBTQIA, and the ACEs. We’ll gather on Tuesday, April 19, from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m., at the Main Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 96 S. Grant Street, Columbus 43215. This Gathering will be in-person. Thank You!
