Families of deployed Service Members, join Blue Star Families of Utah as we celebrate our #milKids! Join Blue Star Families of Utah at the Falcon Hill Military Family Starbucks for an afternoon just for our Families of deployed Service members. It's the Month of the Military Child and we're providing a little extra support to our MilKids while Remembering Everyone Deployed! Join us, wear purple for military kids or red in support of our deployed, and enjoy an afternoon of treats, crafts, and resources. MilKids will have the opportunity to make a special "Hug from Afar" craft and card that they can send to their deployed parent. We'll have resources on hand and all Families will receive a Kynd Kit Deployment Care Package Starter Kit which contains some items with deployed members in mind, put together by our partners at Discover. Kids will receive a goodie bag treat. Attendees will also be able to visit with United States of America Miss Teen Utah and follow milKid - Emily Graf! Items can also be taken to go if families would prefer to do their craft(s) at home. Please register for this event so that we have enough treats, crafts and kits for all who attend.
